It has been a while since I last posted and its time for an update. There has been some changes and they are for the better. Instead of letting the whole school paint the mural I decided to only pick 20 students from the whole school. I feel that the diversity in the project will still be the same because I am going to pick 5 students from each grade at random to paint but only if they reply to the e-mail.
The outline shall begin on 2/25 and will end sometime around 2/29. The time frame should be no problem because the students who are doing the outline are the best in the school.
The oral presentations are supposed to be about 20 to 30 minutes and I figured that I can save the panel from being bored by asking them to help paint a small portion of the mural, then to write thier names in the border. The interaction would be a good boost for my project because the panel helped make something that future generations of City High students will look up to.
There is two and a half weeks left to put all of this project together and I believe that it will go just as according to plan.
My goals:
Write speech
Make Power Point
Take Pictures from the Start to Finish.
Start the Outline
Start the Painting
Write a Mural Summary
Practice Presentation
Send out and Collect Cards

Music is My Motivation, My ANTI-Drug, Music is Me!
I have accomplished every portion of my web page except the results page, not to mention I have also added more to my notes, outline and research paper.
I have looked into buying some canvases and the size is the only problem because I am not sure if 6.5 ft by 5.25 ft is going to be big enough, but I know 13 ft by 10.5 ft is going to be to big to fit in the school hallway.
So brainstorming for the end result is still a ongoing project within my gradproject.
So far this week I have been stress free, I believe it is due to my music or chorus. If its the music I have been listening to lately its because it has been uplifting. If it is chorus its because I am a soloist and I am looking forward to singing Elliott Yamin's "Wait for You". If not my music or chorus is must be the fact that I get my Braces. Karma must be repaying for something I did because I am overjoyed for no apparent reason.

Bright Future due to New Abilities
Last post I written I was pretty stressed because things weren't going the way I planned but now I am in a perky mood due to a new ability I have learned to use and I believe my project will be a success if I stay on track.
Today I have worked on my Research paper as well as my Web Page (Which is complete and waiting for the finishing touches, the mural photos and video.)
This weeks goals include:
Answer last four foundation questions
Finish Research Paper
Buy the Canvases
Talk to my Outliners

Spiraling Into a Dark Place of No Return
My grad project is turning out to be the worst thing ever. Ms. White has not yet contacted me and I can't complete my project without her help. The Administration would not mind having a another mural here in the school hallways, but they want it on board like the spray painting made by Brett Scott. If I do my project their way, that changes everything, I would need different materials and more money which is already limited.
I only have like 6 weeks to complete the tangible end product. I have no clue what to do and I am actually beginning to think that I might need to transfer schools... I feel like I am going to fail and the graduation project panel is not going to take pity on me.
I hate to think negative thoughts but I can't shake the feeling that I am not good enough to handle a project of this capacity.

Waiting for A Miracle!!!
Ever since that e-mail was sent to Ms. White everything has been falling apart. My foundation questions needed to be re-done, I have to add definitions to my key terms, and take more notes. I don't believe either of my plans will fall through, and this blog needs to be posted and updated almost every other day.
I am going to focus on the research portion until I get some sort of status update on the panels.
Today is going to be rough but I am waiting for my MIRACLE!

Wishing and Wanting Differ from Working
My Project has potential but its stressful. It's been a whole week since I contacted Ms. White, I am supposed to recieve some sort of notification by the end of this week. I am wishing and wanting this project to go the way I planning but working is the only way to do so.
My back-up is now in effect, If I can't recieve the panels I have a shot at painting a mural for the school.
My goals for this week:
Ask the School to Hold the Mural.
Talk to my outliners (the art students who will draw the mural).
Get Material to paint with.
Calm Down and work at a resonable pace.

Who You Know, Helps How Far You Go!
Yesterday was January 7th and during that day I drew up some rough drafts of what or how the mural may look.
I also contacted Jonathan Cox who is the Vice President of Operations for the Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership. He couldn't help me and my project but he did refer me to Rebbeca White who happens to be the Director of Real Estate Development for the Cultural Trust. I e-mailed and now I am waiting on her reply.
In order to make my project a success I need volunteers. My plan is to ask teachers to recommend students who are interested in art and would not mind painting a mural under my instruction.
Next Step:
E-mail teachers to recommend one student each.
