My grad project is turning out to be the worst thing ever. Ms. White has not yet contacted me and I can't complete my project without her help. The Administration would not mind having a another mural here in the school hallways, but they want it on board like the spray painting made by Brett Scott. If I do my project their way, that changes everything, I would need different materials and more money which is already limited.
I only have like 6 weeks to complete the tangible end product. I have no clue what to do and I am actually beginning to think that I might need to transfer schools... I feel like I am going to fail and the graduation project panel is not going to take pity on me.
I hate to think negative thoughts but I can't shake the feeling that I am not good enough to handle a project of this capacity.
I have no goals for this week

Waiting for A Miracle!!!
Ever since that e-mail was sent to Ms. White everything has been falling apart. My foundation questions needed to be re-done, I have to add definitions to my key terms, and take more notes. I don't believe either of my plans will fall through, and this blog needs to be posted and updated almost every other day.
I am going to focus on the research portion until I get some sort of status update on the panels.
Today is going to be rough but I am waiting for my MIRACLE!

Wishing and Wanting Differ from Working
My Project has potential but its stressful. It's been a whole week since I contacted Ms. White, I am supposed to recieve some sort of notification by the end of this week. I am wishing and wanting this project to go the way I planning but working is the only way to do so.
My back-up is now in effect, If I can't recieve the panels I have a shot at painting a mural for the school.
My goals for this week:
Ask the School to Hold the Mural.
Talk to my outliners (the art students who will draw the mural).
Get Material to paint with.
Calm Down and work at a resonable pace.

Who You Know, Helps How Far You Go!
Yesterday was January 7th and during that day I drew up some rough drafts of what or how the mural may look.
I also contacted Jonathan Cox who is the Vice President of Operations for the Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership. He couldn't help me and my project but he did refer me to Rebbeca White who happens to be the Director of Real Estate Development for the Cultural Trust. I e-mailed and now I am waiting on her reply.
In order to make my project a success I need volunteers. My plan is to ask teachers to recommend students who are interested in art and would not mind painting a mural under my instruction.
Next Step:
E-mail teachers to recommend one student each.

Changes In Progress
I decided that my Grad Project has too wide of a volunteer span... What I mean is that pulling students from other schools may be difficult, when I have a 15 days to put a group together, gather materials, pick a mural design, find a place to paint and gather data. Then I have 30 days to Paint. After all the painting I have 45 days to come up with a good presentation and an unveiling.
My topic will stay the same and so will my essential question, the only thing that will change is that I plan to use City High students only.
Picking a design for the mural is difficult as well because I want to incorporate Downtown Pittsburgh, Diversity as well as aiming for the stars for a better future.

First Day of New Beginnings
Today I began to work on who I would have to contact, if I wanted one of the panels on the side of the Benedum center. Two sources one being a friend of Mrs. Fossum and the other being a list of staff that work for the Cultural trust, should contribute to my end result but I won't know anything until I speak to the right people.
My time line for this month consist of gaining the panel, find a place to paint, deciding on mural picture, gathering my paint materials, rally the volunteers, and begin painting.
